Joseph Monaco – Civil Litigation

Joe is a 2nd generation personal injury lawyer who practiced in a personal injury boutique with my father and sisters before joining Donald F. Manchel & Associates in 1997. In 2010, Joe joined Kane & Silverman, PC to allow me to better serve my clients with offices in Philadelphia, Lancaster and Marlton. He is a cum laude graduate of the University of Dayton and received his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 1989.

At Haggerty & Silverman, PC, Joe practices exclusively civil litigation on behalf of injured victims. His primary practice areas are in traumatic brain injuries, dog bites, premises liability, FELA, motor vehicle liability, products liability and wrongful death. He has also tried cases in Pennsylvania and New Jersey as a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and State of New Jersey along with several United States District Courts. Joe has also argued before the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. In addition, he has been a lecturer for continuing legal education seminars, where he spoke on investigating premises liability claims and evidentiary issues in motor vehicle cases. Joe is a passionate and aggressive accident lawyer who has successfully handled hundreds of personal injury cases including securing individual settlements in excess of $1 million.

Joe was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Since marrying his wife, Vicky, in 1993, they reside in Eastern Montgomery County, Pennsylvania where he is an active member of the community and raising two children. He is a past President and Member of the Kiwanis Club of Glenside. While President, the club was honored by Kiwanis International with the Emerald Award for outstanding community service.
